Volunteer at St. Clare Meadows and join our healing mission. Volunteers provide support and assistance to help provide the best possible care and quality of life to all of the residents that live here. Your individual skills, talents, and experiences are matched with current needs and opportunities as part of the St. Clare Meadows team.
As a volunteer at St. Clare Meadows you will enjoy special friendships with the residents. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Assist with group activities such as bingo, religious services, baking, or exercise groups
- Share travel experiences
- Share hobbies and crafts
- Share your favorite pet
- Assist residents to and from activities
- Lead bible studies, card games, or discussion groups
- Garden with residents
- Read to residents
- Visit with residents on the patio, in the solarium, or Meadow Brook Café
- Assist residents to check email

Volunteer Requirements
To become a St. Clare Meadows volunteer you will need to do the following:
- Complete a general orientation to become familiar with procedures and the facility
- Commit to at least 3 months of scheduled volunteer work
- Complete a TB Skin test
- Complete a parental permission slip (youth volunteers age 10-17)
