Your individual skills and abilities are matched with current openings as a part of the St. Clare Hospital team.
There are many benefits of volunteering. Volunteers enjoy new friendships; it increases self worth, improves self confidence, and develops new skills! Some volunteers get started on a lifelong medical career from their experiences.
Requirements for becoming an Adult volunteer:
- A commitment to at least 3 months of scheduled volunteer work, you may volunteer as little as twice a month or as much as a few times each week.
- Provide a confidential health history, including record of immunizations
- Free Annual Tb test and Flu Vaccination
- Complete a Background Information Disclosure
- Fill out a Volunteer Application form
- Attend the General Orientation Program, as well as the Service Area Orientation program. These help you become familiar with the hospital and the hospital procedures.
As an adult volunteer, perhaps you would enjoy working with patients, filing records, giving tours, escorting patients to x-ray or physical therapy, greeting visitors, or any number of other tasks that volunteers perform. Based on your interests and the hospital's needs, you would be assigned to one of these service areas:
